Andy is an expressive landscape painter based in Canberra, Australia. His colourful and light-filled scenes are full of memory, thought and emotion, often exploring deeper themes, especially humanity’s relationship with nature.

This solo exhibition will showcase a collection of Andy’s work inspired by the landscape of Canberra and surrounding regions, focusing on the wild places so close to the suburbs, pondering the relationship between civilisation and the untamed world.
Expanse, Yale Columbia Dome, Mt Stromlo, Canberra
From 20th to 22nd June, 2025.
A group exhibition along with the Cassandra Dove and Gautam Jhanjee, Expanse will feature large, dramatic paintings on unstretched canvas exploring each artist’s interpretation of the theme, making the most of the spectacular venue with its textured, weathered high walls and the surrounding mountain scenery. Andy’s works for this exhibition are inspired his visit to the Flinders Ranges and surrounding desert in 2024
Affordable Art Fair, Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne
From 28th to 31st August, 2025.
Andy will be joining the art fair on the Gallery NWC stand. He’s created a series of paintings inspired by Geelong, where he’s spent some time due to family in the area, and Katoomba which is where the gallery is based, both towns that capture Andy’s imagination in different ways.
